Hawkstone Park, Shropshire

Hawkstone Park is a large and dramatic 18th century romantic landscape, built in the grounds of Hawkstone Hall. It having fallen into dereliction, the Countryside Commission coordinated a plan for the rescue of Hawkstone in which we were involved. After undertaking a survey of buildings we were responsible for the design and detailed construction management of repairs and reconstruction works for all the buildings.  This involved the repair and restoration of Grade I, II* and II listed structures, reinstatement of lost features  and the planned management of a Scheduled Ancient Monument.  When the landscape subsequently opened to visitors, it was awarded a Civic Trust Award and a Europa Nostra Diploma.
